RH Bill According to some.

Youtube Video

I believe that family planning is needed because It will prevent people from taking abortion. RH bill is not for abortion, the bill is for the people to understand how the RH Bill. Women wouldn’t be exposed to difficult and risky methods to not have children.

Today, I believe that those people who are more likely to take abortion are those who are using their body to access money and it would really be risky for them. The RH Bill will help them understand how they should take care of their reproductive health and these unwanted things should be stopped from happening.
I read a couple of comments by the people for this video and I would give my comments about it. People are becoming very aggressive and maybe it’s because of how the church is reacting to the bill.

Everyone is entititled to have their own opinion so , I respect their comments.
These are comments from youtube.

“the thruth is FAMILY PLANNING WILL PREVENT ABORTION,because ABORTIONS IS DUE TO UNWANTED PREGNANCY family planning pills will strenghtened the implantation of the fetus saving it from being ABORTED,the Roman carholoic bishops had mastered the ART of LYING AND DECEPTIONS which let to the DEADS of thousands of babies either by abortions due to unwanted pregnancy or leave to die after birth.sabi ng INUTIL NA OBISPO KAWAWA DAW ANG ABORTION,HEH SINO MAY KASALANAN AT kagagawan,PAKUNWARI PA KAYO HUDAS”

Like what the PRO RH Bill people are saying, RH Bill is not PRO ABORTION. It prevents it. I do not get it why the church is always saying things when there should be a separation between the state and the church. The philippines is becoming a confusing country, sometimes I Don’t get how our law makers get to do their job effectively when they would always listen to people who are whispering to them.

“hindi MASAMA magkaroon ng maraming anak noong dekadang 20s50s 0r 60s our population during 60s is 35m,Today because of idiotic interference of the supertitious outdated roman carholic bishops is almost 100 m they pretent to be ignorant and prolife by deceptions and lies they always INSERT ABORTIONS into family planning.and confusing the POOR AND IGNORANT.family planning is spacing number of children by PREVENTING PREGNANCY,ABORTION IS FORCE REMOVAL OF FETUS 2different entitties”

I actually agree with this one. If our population was like less than 50% of our population today, it would be easier for Filipinos to have a decent life and many would say that the RH bill is not needed. Today, we’re almost a hundred million and the jobs available are insufficient, the houses and lots are insufficient, the number of government offices that can help people are insufficient, the number of available classrooms for public schools are overflowing like an ant castle and the hospitals don’t have enough rooms for those people injured ALSO, to women who are giving birth. If everyone in the philippines have enough money to send their children to a good school, I would agree that we do not need the RH BILL.

Why do we need the RH bill?

The Reproductive Health Bill

The Reproductive Health Bill or the RH Bill is one of the bills the Philippines has been aiming to pass. It will help the Filipinos know about the methods and informations about controlling birth and family planning. Today, Many of the bill passers and the Church are having a debate on it. In the Philippines the goal of the reproductive health bill is to provide information on the following : Parenting, Health, Population and Others. Many people don’t agree with this bill because they don’t understand how it will work and to be frank, I read about it, but I’m not really sure what it is about because they keep on changing the policies included in it. One thing I know about it is that birth control pills or the BCPs will be distributed to families, which will help them THINK if they are willing to take it or not. So practically, The families will not be forced to take it, but they have the choice if they are WILLING to use the BCPs and Contraceptives.
The Reproductive Health Bill was proposed years ago and I believe that they would not pass such bill if the Philippines did not need any assistance from the government with family planning and population growth. To tell you the truth I am still researching about the bill and I don’t want to post anything I am not sure of.
I used to teach in areas where people do not have enough money to attend classes and they appreciate us teaching them about family planning. One of the people I taught told me that if we did not teach them about family planning they would still hold on to their notion that more kids will bring them more money. I told them that it can happen. It might happen. But most of the times having more kids would just give them more debt, especially when it comes to them, feeding their families and sending them to school. I told them that having more family members will just give them more expenses. She understood what I said and she would consider what I told her. She said after the lecture that, kids in their location were being sold, I asked her how much, she said. One time, her neighbor offered her son to her for 500 pesos. What I told her was, How could somoene sell her kid? What if one day, since they don’t have proper documents, the parent will just ask for the kid. What would she do? I Told her, I don’t have any background on adoption and such, but I’m pretty sure this is not legal.
The church has been critizing the bill in many ways, for one. I heard this debate in the television wherein the church is saying that children ages 10 or those in the puberty age should not be taught about sex. Sex education will just open there eyes to SEX. But from what I understand, The RH bill will not teach the kids on how to use condoms or have sex, but educate them in a way that they will know that if they do such things, things might happen. Another thing, I didn’t like about with the arguments of the church is that, they threathen to excommunicate people (including the President) Benigno Aquino III if he supported such bill.
Why do we need such bill? If ever I did not read about the RH Bill, I would think that we need it to control the oozing amount of kids being born everyday. I believe that we need to lessen (not stop) the population from growing because of the number of jobs available. It is not enough. Also, Most of the families with enormous amounts of children live in the slums and every year numbers of children in the public schools are going crazy. The numbers of chairs and tables are not enough. The books are being shared by 3 or 4 children, and that shouldn’t be. The bill would help filipino families control the number of children being born and this can help slowly eliminate poverty, if not eliminate then at least lessen it. If ever the bill will be passed, the rapid population growth in the philippines will lessen, which will improve the quality of life present in our country.
Population Growth has been always the reason for why our economy is like this. There is poverty. Children in the philippines are not educated well. If we travel abroad, people will think that we are there for the dirty jobs. How can we accept this? If we go to Hong Kong, we will be labelled instantly as workers not travellers. Racism had spread as if we were taking over the world.
According to the House Bill. The Senate Bill 2378 define the RH Bil as “Reproductive Health Care - refers to the state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and to its functions and processes. This implies that people are able to have a satisfying and safe sex life, that they have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, when and how often to do so, provided that these are not against the law. This further implies that women and men attain equal relationships in matters related to sexual relations and reproduction”
The bill is not forcing people to do what the church is telling us. I believe that if the RH bill is enforced in the country, many would know how it can help us. Although, I am Pro it, There are many things that I do not like in the bill, and I would discuss it on my other entries. I believe it is right to understand first what the pros and cons of the bill to take a side. Right now I believe I am for it. But lets see, I might change my mind after knowing more about it.
